The X-Mas Business Game is part of the lecture "Einführung in PPS/ERP-Systeme" in the 7th semester of the bachelor study program mechanical engineering. The aim of the game is to impart the practical usage of a PPS/ERP-System in a company to the students.

Firstly the students need to set up the appropriate data in the ERP-System "Transfact" to subsequently perform a test order. Therefore, all the data, which is necessary from the order adoption to the delivery of the products, has to be created in the ERP-System.

In the second part of the game is executed under the application of the PPS/ERPSystem. Many products made of cardboard and plywood will be produced and sold in different variations.
