CampusCard for university staff members

In 2013, the multifunctional chip card was introduced for all employees of the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer. It currently has the following functions:

  • Identity card
  • Locking card for external doors and library lockers
  • Time recording card
  • Library card
  • Payment card for the Mensa
  • Copy card and print card for the multifunction devices installed in the university

The semester ticket function is not available for employees.

The following rules apply to the purse functions of the university card

What is the best way to keep the CampusCard?

The CampusCard should be stored carefully because of its multifunctionality (integrated chip, TRW imprint).
It is therefore advisable to use the protective cover as a permanent storage location for the card. Mechanical stress (bending, etc.) must be avoided. Failure to observe these instructions may result in damage and malfunction of the card.

 

How do I get a replacement card?

If your university ID card is lost or no longer usable, please apply for a replacement card and, if necessary, for a refund of the remaining amount.

How do I activate my CampusCard for service copies?

In order to use the CampusCard for service copies, you must contact the information desk in Emden or the department secretariat in Leer. Please indicate from which cost center your service copies should be debited. The card will then be activated for a certain contingent.

 

How do I activate my card as a library card?

The CampusCard is already prepared for use as a library card. The activation takes place in the responsible library of the respective place of study.
