Deregistration/Withdrawal of enrolment

De-registration

If you have finished your studies or would like to interrupt them, please apply for deregistration. If you are no longer on-site, you can send us your application for deregistration together with the CampusCard by post. Personal delivery is not required.

Reimbursement of the semester fee:
In case of deregistration before or within one month after the official start of the lectures, fees and charges will be refunded (§ 19 Paragraph 6 Sentence 4 Nds. Hochschulgesetz). The fee and charge regulations of the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer apply to continuing education courses.
For this purpose, the CampusCard and the application for reimbursement must be submitted together with the application for deregistration.

Withdrawal of matriculation

If you are a first-year student and would like to withdraw from your university place, please submit an application to withdraw your matriculation before or within one month of the official start of lectures.

Reimbursement of the semester fee:
If you withdraw your enrolment before or within one month of the official start of the lectures, any fees and charges you have paid will be refunded (§ 3 paragraph 2 of the Enrolment Regulations).
For this purpose, the CampusCard must be submitted together with the application for withdrawal.

The fee and charge regulations of the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer apply to continuing education courses.

Note:
In your own interest, you should immediately announce your deregistration or the withdrawal of your matriculation at other offices (e.g. health insurance, child benefit office, BAföG office).
