Brief description of Premdek
In the ‘Premdek’ project, a virtual power plant is being planned and simulated at system level. The interactions between decentralized energy generators, storage systems and consumers are being investigated and optimized.
Project description:
The aim of the project is to transfer the existing Premdek technology into a compact, scaled-down version that retains all the essential functions for planning virtual power plants. Critical system components are to be identified and specifically reduced in order to develop a functional, scalable model that is easy to handle.

Funktionsaufbau der generischen Simulation

The aim of this project is the application-oriented further development of a generic simulation solution that supports companies with different manufacturing principles (e.g. flow production and workshop production) in efficiently analysing and optimising their production processes. The model is intended to automatically generate a simulation model from existing ERP data that can be adapted with minimal effort and provides meaningful key figures such as OEE, capacity utilisation, waiting times and production rejects. In addition to modelling, the focus is on developing a user-friendly visualisation and an intuitive operating concept - so that the system is easy to understand and appealing to users.

Development of an Anylogic model for the realistic visualisation of a heat pump. The focus is on modelling the thermal processes and control strategies. Optional integration of the model into the PREmdek virtual power plant is possible.

IT-Infrastructure for the Fischertechnik I4.0 Learning Factory

The Fischertechnik I4.0 is a learning factory with Fischertechnik-Elements connected via Rasberry Pi -Arduino-Hardware to the ERP-System Transfact. Former student projects developed the current IT infrastructure. It now needs to be updated or developed completely new. RFID tracking and stopping and starting of production orders should be enabled. The new system will ensure comprehensive software documentation to guarantee full traceability and maintainability during the next years.
