Machine Dynamics Laboratory

The Machine Dynamics Laboratory focuses on all aspects of the dynamics and vibrations of modern machines. To this end, it employs simulation and technical calculation methods as well as modern measurement technology.

The results of vibration analyses are traditionally used to design machines and components with regard to vibration resistance, imbalance, vibrations, noise, friction, and wear.

Furthermore, particularly in the context of human-machine interaction, the design of components to ensure comfort and ergonomics is essential. The analytical methods of machine dynamics provide important insights into this topic.

We have state-of-the-art equipment and software at our disposal for generating, measuring, and simulating vibrations in a wide variety of technical applications.
