Laboratory Equipment
A gantry welding system and a robotic system are available, on which the MIG/MAG/TIG welding processes and laser welding processes (heat conduction welding, deep welding) can be tested in their various forms. The set manufacturing parameters are monitored and reliably recorded in accordance with Industry 4.0 standards. Any potential changes in the material’s properties in the vicinity of the weld seam can be investigated using the materials science equipment.
Laser welding of metals and plastics is carried out using equipment that is also used for industrial laser material processing.
Since November 2020, a laser cell equipped with a robot has been available for performing various welding processes. Here, both laser welding and conventional welding processes can be investigated, even for three-dimensional geometries.
