Design lab - Study in the think tank!
Welcome to the website of the Design Laboratory at Emden-Leer University of Applied Sciences.
We would like to give you an insight into our premises, the equipment and, of course, the coursework. The design laboratory not only serves as a seminar room for students on the Mechanical Engineering & Design course specializing in "Product Development and Design - Automotive", but is also a contact point and meeting place.
In addition to lectures, seminars and project supervision, a lot of work is done on individual design projects in the design lab.
From the small design task to the larger third-party funded project, this is where, often in teamwork, the subject of industrial design, questions of ergonomics, product presentation or computer-aided design with Alias AutoStudio are dealt with. In line with the holistic profile of the new Product Development and Design - Automotive degree course, the often conflicting positions between construction and design are transformed into creative energy.
