Right from the start of your studies, the First-Semester Welcome Week will feature important events designed to help you get off to a good start and find your way around our beautiful university. We are committed to helping you get off to a good start in your studies, and as a university where everything is close at hand, we are here for you personally.

Your first-semester orientation week begins on September 14, 2026.

The planned schedule for the first-semester welcome day:

• 9:30 a.m. – Arrival on campus
• 11:00 a.m. – Welcome and introductory program in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Room T141 led by Prof. Böcker
• 2:00 PM – Central welcome event
