If you are interested in a short term mobility abroad, an Erasmus Blended Intensive Program (BIP) might be suitable for you. The condition for this is that University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer offers such a program for your field of study.
Characteristics of a BIP:
- At least 3 universities from the Erasmus area are developing short, intensive joint mobility curricula and activities (funding is requested from the DAAD)
- Short joint physical group mobility to one of the locations between 5 and 30 days combined with a virtual component before, during or after the mobility of undefined duration
- At least 3 ECTS credits required!
- One receiving university and at least 2 sending universities with at least 15 mobile participants (at least 10 mobile participants beginning with Erasmus project 2024-26)
- Amount of funding during physical mobility abroad: €70 per day for day 1-14 and €50 per day for day 15-30 in the Erasmus project 2022-24 and €79 per day for day 1-14 and €56 per day for day 15-30 in the Erasmus project 2023-25 + for participants with fewer opportunities* a one-time fee of €100 (journey up to 14 days) or €150 (journeys longer than 15 days) plus a travel allowance

Students with a degree of disability of minimum 20

Erasmus blended short term mobilities are especially meant for those Students who are unable to participate in long-term mobility (study or internship with minimum duration of 2 months) due to personal, family, health or study-related circumstances.
This are the characteristics:
- Combination of physical mobility in the Erasmus area (EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Turkey) between 5 and 30 days and a virtual component before, during or after the mobility of undefined duration
- At least 3 ECTS credits required!
- Individually organized stay with the support of the international coordinators in the faculties (Faculty of Business Studies: Tanja Anschütz, Faculty of Social Work and Health: Corina Sandersfeld, study programme IBS: Katja Hakkarainen) or of the International Office (Janine Hülsen)
- The home university and the receiving university have to sign an Erasmus Inter-Institutional Agreement.
- Possible funding for physical mobility: €79 per day for day 1-14 and €56 per day for day 15-30 + for participants with fewer opportunities* a one-time top-up of €100 (journey up to 14 days) or €150 (journeys longer than 15 days) plus a travel allowance
