(ONLY FOR ERASMUS+ AND OTHER EXCHANGE STUDENTS)
The "Orientation Weeks" take place generally before lecture start in fall term (at the beginning of September) and in spring term (middle of February).
Together with all incoming students who just arrived many activities are planned during the "Orientation Weeks", e.g. welcome breakfast/welcome reception, introduction to the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer and surrounding areas, city-rallye in Emden, a guided city tour, excursions (for example to the city of Hamburg) and trips through the pubs of Emden. Furthermore the International Office offers "German intensive language courses" (beginner and advanced levels) during the "Orientation Weeks" .
In the spring term 2025 the orientation weeks are scheduled from 20 - 28 February 2025.
