Multiphysics simulations with Comsol
Engineering problems often require the simulation of different physical disciplines in one model.
The Laboratory for Machine Dynamics uses the Comsol multiphysics software for this purpose. In particular, interactions between solid mechanics, fluid mechanics and electromagnetism are investigated.
