The University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer participates in the Dialog-Oriented Service Procedure for undergraduate degree programs with the following locally restricted admission programs:

Childhood Education, Social Work, Social and Health Management Sustainable product development in mechanical engineering and Business Psychology.

The Dialog-Oriented Service Procedure supports the universities in their admission processes and helps to avoid vacant study places. Please apply in our application portal.

What does this mean for your application to the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer?

If you are interested in one of the above-mentioned degree programs, your path to study begins with registration in the application portal for the Dialog-Oriented Service Procedure. Multiple registration is not permitted. If you register more than once, a decision will only be made on the applications received for the most recent registration. Excess registrations will be deleted along with all applications belonging to you and will not take part in the further procedure. A deletion cannot be reversed.

Please note that you can also use your user account, which you created through your registration, for applications in later procedures. Another registration would constitute an inadmissible multiple registration.

For registration you enter your personal data. You will then receive a BID (applicant ID) and a BAN (applicant authentication number). You will need these to apply in our university application portal.

On the pages of our university (https://www.hs-emden-leer.de/studieninteressierte/studienangebot/alle-studiengaenge) we inform you how to apply to us. Please note that changes can only be made where you have applied.

Which deadlines do you have to observe for your application?

You can apply from Middle of May until 07/15/2023 (application phase). You can submit the last application (of a maximum of twelve applications nationwide for local admission-restricted and admission-free degree programs) by midnight on 07/15/2023. After submitting your application, you can view the status of your applications in your user account in the application portal for the Dialog-Oriented Service Procedure and prioritize them according to your personal preferences. The best possible admission (option) for you will be determined during the subsequent coordination phase.

The prioritization of your study wishes that you have chosen plays a decisive role here: due to the dynamics of the procedure, lower-priority offers are not retained, but are eliminated as soon as a higher-priority offer is possible. It is therefore recommended that you prioritize your study preferences in the DoSV application portal by 07/22/2023.

Who receives what data/information from you?

Hochschulstart processes selected data received by our university. The university's employees only have access to applications sent to their respective university, but not to your other applications to other universities. Data security is guaranteed at all times.
