You can find up-to-date information from the university on this page. The provisions described there are based on a level-oriented concept prescribing various measures depending on warning levels.
In the Faculty of Technology, we have basically been able to hold on-campus classes in warning levels 0 und 1 since the beginning of the winter semester 2021/22 – with according provisions for a mask mandate. On December 1, 2021, our lectures and tutorials switched to online form by default – labs and similar classes were able to continue to take place on campus. Exams for the winter semester were planned as online exams.
For the summer semester 2022, it is our goal to return to on-campus classes with our regular study programs – our online study programs plan to offer on-campus weekends again. Taking into account the developing corona situation, in the second half of January we will define further details as to how the summer semester will be handled and post them here.
So far, the only classes which have already moved online for the summer semester are classes in English for the Master study program Industrial Informatics, with the exception of “Simulation of Production Systems”, which will be offered as a block course in the summer.
