Accounting serves to systematically record, monitor and report the flow of money and services of businesses. On the basis of the German Code of Commercial Law (HGB) and international regulations (IFRS), the situation surrounding assets, finances and earnings is presented to cover the needs for information from interest groups outside of the business, such as for example banks, creditors or the state, and to provide information to the decision-makers within the business.

The focus subject will prepare you for demanding tasks in invoicing for national and international businesses as well as in tax consultancy and auditing companies.

Good combination possibilities include the focus subjects Corporate Taxation; Finance Management and Controlling as well as Business Information Systems.
