Optovars

Some microscopes do have so called "optovars". These are magnification turrets, which allow to fine-adjust the overall power of the system. Sometimes they supplement eyepieces, sometimes they supplement the main lens (e.g. stereoscopic microscopes)

E.L.M.I. provides an interface for the corresponding optical data, so that these supplements can be used too for microphotograph annotations.
