Project Week

Project and practice-oriented studying is lived out at the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer. An outstanding example of this is Project Week, which is held regularly in May and November. In Project Week there is a break from regular classes, so that students can “think outside the box”.

First-year students in particular gain an overview of Business Administration as a whole and are able to train their key competences e.g. teamwork, abstract and networked thinking, independent working or time management.

Highlights during Project Week include the many international sessions held by visiting lectures from abroad in Spring Project week (May), practice-oriented workshops, and the seminars held by experts from business.

During Project Week students collect points, which they must produce towards the end of their studies as pre-exam credits for admission to the practical phase.

Further information on the current project week is available here about four weeks in advance. Project weeks are held regularly in May and November.
